This free tool enables efficient and easy selection of SNP sets to distinguish mouse strains of interest, with specific applications in genotype/phenotype mapping and strain verification. Mouse SNPbrowser selects from more than 10,000 Pre-Designed SNP Genotyping assays using either TaqMan® Assay or SNPlex™ Genotyping Systems.The mouse SNP database underlying the software includes ~10,000 evenly spaced SNP loci genotyped across 48 inbred mouse strains.
